Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is provided to persons who are ill or who are in need of God’s healing mercy. The elderly, regardless of medical condition, and children who are old enough to appreciate the comforting nature of the Sacrament may be anointed.

At the end of life, Anointing of the Sick, along with Penance and the Eucharist (together called Viaticum or “food for the journey,” and sometimes referred to as Last Rites) are administered to the dying person.

Please provide details of sick or bed-ridden parishioners who wish to receive Holy Communion at the Parish Office. Communion will be brought to them every Sunday. To arrange for Anointing of the Sick please contact the Parish office or call +233-302-775645.
