The Young Christian Workers’ Movement, Christ the King Base Group Accra, is a movement of Young Dynamic, God fearing and Christian Workers from diverse cultures and professions who have come together bonded by similar interests.

1. Organize the Youth of the Parish in rendering services to the church and the country as a whole.
2. Seek and maintain our role as the Youth of the church.
3. Promote programmes that will assist members of the ‘YCWM’ grow Spiritually, Morally, Intellectually, Apostolically and Physically.
4. Promote sustainable participation of the Youth in all facets of church activities.                                                              5. Foster Social awareness among the Youth and to promote efforts for nation building to wit:
i) Mobilization of Youth for specific projects;
ii) Protecting the interest of all Catholic Youth in the Ghanaian Society;
iii) Seeking mutual understanding and co- operation between the ‘YCWM’ and other Youth Movements in the Accra Archdiocese and the rest of the country.

The Aims and Objectives of the ‘YCWM’ shall at all times and in all ways be transparent to all members. They shall be conformed to principles of fairness and justice to all and shall be in agreement with the spirit of the laws of the Parish and the Doctrines and Teachings of the Catholic Church.
