Eucharistic Ministers

Serving the Body of Christ with Reverence and Devotion

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers at Christ the King Catholic Parish play a crucial role in our worship by assisting in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass and bringing the Eucharist to those who are unable to attend church. This ministry is a profound expression of our faith and commitment to serving God and our community.

The mission of the Eucharistic Ministers is to bring the real presence of Christ to our parishioners with the utmost reverence and care. We are dedicated to ensuring that the sacredness of the Eucharist is honored and that all who receive it are met with respect and compassion.

Distribution of Communion

During Mass, Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ to the congregation, ensuring a smooth and reverent flow of the sacrament.

Home Visits

We extend the reach of the Eucharist by visiting the sick, elderly, and homebound members of our parish, bringing them the comfort and grace of Holy Communion.

Training and Formation

Participate in training and formation to deepen understanding of the Eucharist and enhance the reverence and effectiveness of our ministry.

Special Liturgies

Eucharistic Ministers also serve during special liturgies, such as weddings, funerals, and holy days, ensuring that all who attend can partake in the Eucharist.
